ACCESSIBLE ON FOOT

The Gulf of Sagone boasts some of Corsica's most beautiful beaches. The nearest beach is Santana Beach, with its beautiful beach huts where you can enjoy lunch and dinner. It is supervised from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Water sports are available on the large beach in Sagone centre, located 1 km away: diving, catamaran rental, windsurfing, etc.

It is also the starting point for boat trips to the Sanguinaires Islands and the Scandola nature reserve (listed as a world heritage site).

Land-based activities are also plentiful. The Sagone Ranch, 5 km from the house, offers horseback riding. In the town center, you'll find trails for via cordata, canyoning, and treetop adventures.

ROAD TRIPS

Sagone is located on the road to Calvi by the coast, one of the most picturesque in Corsica. You'll need a few full days to visit the island's must-see sites: the Sanguinaires Islands, Lake Créno, the natural swimming pools of Vico, Cargèse and its Orthodox church, the Calanques de Piana (a World Heritage Site), and the port of Porto. And why not extend your adventure to the Citadel of Calvi and the villages of Balagne... But that's another story.

HIKING AND WALKS

Corsica, a mountainous island in the heart of the Mediterranean, boasts Europe's most famous hiking trail: the GR 20. With its magnificent landscapes, magical mountains, and high-altitude lakes, every hiker is amazed by the island's treasures. Moreover, the Isle of Beauty is full of countless hiking trails, shorter than the GR 20 and just as beautiful.
